We do not collect resident registration numbers, alien registration numbers, or passport numbers. Identity verification is performed directly by the licensed real estate broker.
2. Retention Period
- Inquiry conversations: 1 year after the last message; deleted immediately upon the user’s request for deletion
- New listing alerts: deleted immediately when alerts are discontinued
- Real estate broker member information: deleted upon withdrawal (information that must be retained under applicable laws is retained for the relevant period)
- Electronic contracts: 5 years after completion of the contract (aligned with the retention period for transaction contracts of licensed real estate brokers). Thereafter, destroyed

Overseas transfers are carried out through the network at the time of service use. If you do not wish to undergo transfer, you may choose not to use the relevant functions (translation inquiries, email notifications, electronic contracts); however, in such case, use of the relevant services will be restricted.
4. Provision to Third Parties
Inquiry details and contact information are provided to the licensed real estate broker for the listing about which the user made the inquiry. The electronic contract is retained by each of the contracting parties (landlord and tenant) and the licensed real estate broker, one copy each. Other than that, no information is provided to third parties except as required by law.
5. Cookies
This site uses only the following cookies: workplace location entered by the user (for distance-based sorting, 1 year), source value (30 days), and maintaining login for brokers and administrators. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may refuse cookies in your browser settings, and in such case distance-based sorting by workplace and login may not function.
6. Rights of the User
The user may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information at hello@koreainlife.com, and we will process such request without delay. We do not collect the personal information of children under 14 years of age.
7. Destruction
Information for which the retention period has expired or the purpose has been achieved is deleted from the database and storage without delay.
8. Measures to Ensure Security
Encrypted password storage (PBKDF2), HTTPS encryption across all sections, segregation of administrator access keys, removal of location information (EXIF) from public photos, restriction of login attempts.

10. Changes
If this policy changes, notice will be posted on the site 7 days before it takes effect.
11. Language
This policy is provided in multiple languages. If there is any discrepancy between the translation and the Korean version, the Korean version shall prevail.
